What is The Lord of the Rings?

The Lord of the Rings is a series of three epic fantasy adventure films directed by Peter Jackson, based on the novel The Lord of the Rings by British author J. R. R. Tolkien. The LOTR trilogy consists of three films: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. The LOTR trilogy is the most awarded film series in cinematic history. It received 475 awards out of 800 nominations. The epic adventure is a huge hit due to it's amazing story, beautiful settings and visuals, and captivating fantasy feel.

My Rating: 

In my opinion, the LOTR trilogy is 5 out of 5 stars. It is one of my favorite movie series of all time for a multitude of reasons. I think the movies have excellent and entertaining plots, great visuals, and a great soundtrack.
